ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Primary responsibilities are to:

Provide leadership and direction to the NPI Operations Engineering staff to develop and launch innovative new neurosurgical medical devicesManage the professional development and career progression of engineers and technicians in the Operations Engineering staffLead the Operations Engineering activities in a collaborative cross-functional new product development team environmentAssign and manage Operations Engineering team resources for new product development (NPI) projects to ensure optimal project staffing and capabilities for all NPI development programsDevelop and execute comprehensive, cost-effective manufacturing strategies for all new products, including manufacturing site, supplier development, and supplier selectionsInterface with lntegra's internal manufacturing plants (both US and OUS locations) and external suppliers to manage the transfer of new products from product development intosteady-state manufacturingEnsure optimal execution of all manufacturing process validation activities for new productsDevelop and manage financial budgets for NPI projects and the Engineering departmentProvide management review and leadership oversight to NPI projectsResearch and identify innovative new manufacturing technologies to apply to new and existing productsEstablish, manage and communicate priorities for NPI projects to team membersManage project review meetings with NPI project manager.  Communicate NPI project priorities and status to Integra’s Leadership Team
