This position title is  Manager,  Operational Systems (WMS/WCS).  You will report to a Senior Manager, Operational  Systems  and this role can be based in Lake Forest, IL

You Will:

Responsible design, testing, and implementation of the distribution center's business systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and other business relevant software. Responsible for planning, execution, and oversight of system implementation projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing processes. Coordinate technical support and training to users of the business systems with GTG, OST, and Operational Teams. Work closely with developers, system administrators, and business users to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through the effective use of system enhancements. Ensure that systems are optimized to support business goals and enhance productivity. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for system use and management. Develop and deliver training programs for system users to ensure effective utilization. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system-related issues. Gather and address user feedback to continuously improve system functionality. Responsible for creating and maintaining configuration workbooks for new and existing buildings.


You Have:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in system implementation, operational management, or a related role. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successful system implementations. Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), business requirements, Warehouse Execution Software (WES) systems, and other relevant software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in various operational systems and software, with a strong understanding of system integration. Outstanding leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. Knowledge of compliance and security standards related to operational systems.
