Responsibilities:
Develop and use tools and analyses for demand signal planning, forecasting, and consolidation in contract manufacturing, while proactively planning capacity to support strategic growth goals.Lead and manage strategic projects sought at optimizing operations, working closely with business teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.Collaborate with Supply Chain (Senior) Directors and functional leaders to explore potential areas for improvement, determine the required resources and data, and put effective solutions into action.Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to form and activate a crisis management team, mapping the supply chain, conducting scenario planning, assessing impacts, communicating plans, and implementing responses.Mentor junior Supply Chain team members, sharing knowledge and expertise through structured learning methodologies.Be a subject matter expert in supply chain key performance indicators, sales and operations planning, and supply and demand planning.Extract, consolidate, and analyze supply chain data to build performance indicators and drive continuous improvement in inventory risk reduction and materials planning.Monitor and report important metrics for inventory management, analyzing the underlying causes to develop and implement successful solutions.Design and build ad-hoc tools and dashboards to support Supply Chain team activities.Serve as a knowledgeable resource in supply chain operations and management, establishing benchmarks of excellence throughout different processes.Participate actively in Business Resource Groups and local initiatives, contributing to committees that promote these activities.Requirements:
8+ years of proven experience in operations management positions, including Inventory Management.Equivalent experience in logistics, engineering, information technology, or a related field will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, applicants with a Master’s degree are encouraged to apply.Extensive understanding of inventory management principles, methodologies, and effective strategies.Strong ability to analyze sophisticated data and identify trends and patterns.Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data visualization tools like Power BI.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with team members and external partners.Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Inventory Management (CPIM) are a plus.
