Manager, Organizational Effectiveness

As the Manager, Organizational Effectiveness (OE), you will play a vital role in enhancing Best Buy’s effectiveness through change management, strategic organizational design, data analysis and research, and employee engagement. You will work closely with leadership, HR Business Partners, and various departments to lead change management efforts, assess organizational needs, design effective structures, and implement strategies that enable the future of work and ensure the overall health and success of Best Buy.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do:Lead enterprise-level change management initiatives to drive organizational transformation and align with business strategyDesign and implement plans and tactics for projects within the organizational effectiveness portfolio using frameworks, external research, data, and benchmarking. Develop an approach to measure, collect, analyze, and interpret organizational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvementFacilitate education and coaching to influence greater effectiveness and efficiency by drawing on experience along with proven tools, external data, and change principlesPartner and work closely with HR Business Partners, directors, and officers to drive business resultsCultivate a culture of belonging and engagement through support of team culture and strategy
Basic qualifications:5 years of HR, strategy, change management, industrial organizational psychology, or management consultingStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsBaseline understanding of organizational effectiveness and change methodologies, frameworks, and best practicesStrong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insightsProficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree or related experience or three years of experience with a master’s degree in a related field3 or more years of proven experience in managing and leading strategic initiatives within a complex organization1 or more years of organizational design experience or workforce planning experienceStrong business agility – able to pivot and adapt quickly to changes and continuously improve processes based on learnings and feedbackOrgvue, Workday, or similar HR systems acumen
