The Investment Operations team within Capital Markets Finance (CMF) supports the investment groups in executing transactions across multiple products, global markets, and jurisdictions. The team manages critical middle-office functions necessary for the life cycle events of investment products within the portfolio.

The Manager plays a key role in overseeing team operations, including providing supervision and leadership to staff. Responsibilities include analyzing derivative product requirements across various markets, onboarding and managing counterparties, vendors, and new products, as well as overseeing life cycle events for OTC derivative investments. Life cycle events encompass trade capture and validation, contract settlements, income entitlement, credit events, valuation practices, and fee and margin calculation requirements. Supported product types include OTC derivatives, FX contracts, and cleared swaps.

The Manager ensures accurate transaction reflection in the book of record and continuously enhances internal controls. They will provide complete backup coverage for all team functions and assist the Director as needed.

We believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members. Our flexible hybrid work guideline requires teams to come to the office a minimum of 4 days per week.
