The opportunity

We have an opportunity to join our Qnect AR team as Manager, Partnerships. As a Manager, Partnerships you will drive growth across the portfolio with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high service standards. You will partner with an assigned network of Authorised Representatives, to profitably grow the business and meet sales and growth targets.  You will work closely with our SME Underwriting team, with a remit to grow the Commercial Underwriting, Specialty and People Risk portfolios as well.   

Your new role

You will work in a great team environment and be responsible for developing account management plans, proactively developing key relationships and analysing current trends and growth opportunities within the portfolio.

You will also; 

Establish and develop good working relationships with Authorised Representatives in your assigned portfolio, for the purpose of developing, then monitoring compliant and profitable repeat business. Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Proactively promote and support the Authorised Representatives and QBE Australia's products & services and company image to intermediaries. Review existing portfolios and recommend strategies for increased growth.Work with Service Standards as agreed with Manager – Senior Manager Partnerships. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a BDM/Account Manager.Outstanding Customer Service and Relationship Building skills.Leadership and mentoring skills.Ability to lead by influence with Brokers and Underwriters.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work in a team environment by supporting and developing team members.Product knowledge and understanding to engage intermediaries and fulfill growth opportunities.
