Marmon is now seeking a Payroll Manager with a service-minded work ethic to support our corporate Payroll team. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of payroll tasks, provide service support to our Medical group, and participate in related projects. Reporting directly to the Payroll Director at the corporate office, this is a highly visible and essential role within the organization.

What You'll Do:

Process payroll timely and accurately, including special payroll runsPrepare and issue weekly and monthly benefit and retirement reportsDirect and support the activities of payroll activities for multiple business units within a specific business groupServe as the point of contact to support payroll practitioners at the business unit levelStay current with federal and state payroll legislation and regulationsServe as a liaison between payroll and the internal retirement teams to support inquiries around deductionsManaged special projects and support other process automation initiatives at the direction of the Payroll Director

What You'll Bring to the Role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance7+ years of progressive payroll experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Workday, preferably in a multi-location environmentPayrollOrg, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) minimum a plusADP custom reporting and Smart Compliance experience a plusHigh attention to detail and accuracySuperior interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate-to-high level of Microsoft Excel expertisePassion for payroll, collaboration, learning, process improvements, and technologyEnthusiasm for teaching and helping othersA “roll up your sleeves” attitude and willingness to do the day-to-day work
