Scope of Work to Be Performed:
\nThe role oversees the operations of the department, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across key functions, including:
\n\n Department & Team Management:\n \n Driving employee performance through coaching, development, and addressing people-related matters.\n Identifying and nurturing team members’ potential while fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.\n Leading staff sourcing and replacement with support from the Recruitment team.\n Ensuring adherence to Conduent HR policies on hiring, termination, and time away from work.\n Developing and maintaining a business continuity and disaster recovery plan.\n Leading internal and external audits to successful completion.\n \n Payroll Management & Compliance:\n \n Ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while meeting statutory reporting and filing requirements.\n Completing FEPS Payroll for the department and overseeing US & Canadian Payrolls in compliance with Service Level Agreements.\n Managing and resolving payroll production issues while ensuring payroll records align with statutory requirements.\n Supporting all internal and external payroll-related audits.\n \n Process Improvement & Compliance:\n \n Enhancing payroll performance through strategic process improvements and implementing new systems.\n Improving operational processes related to reporting, information flow, business processes, and planning.\n Ensuring business unit compliance with company policies and local regulations.\n \n\nInterpersonal & Leadership Skills Required:
\n\n Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, organization, and time management skills.\n Ability to influence and align teams with company goals while fostering collaboration.\n Clear and effective communication of objectives, expectations, and feedback.\n Proactive risk identification and resolution to ensure operational continuity.\n Strong client relationship management through active listening and productive engagement.\n High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.\n\nExperience & Qualifications Required:
\n\n Experience: 3+ years of management experience.\n Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.\n\nÂ
