Job Summary:
The Manager, People & Talent Acquisition Analytics will play a critical role in supporting the Talent Acquisition (TA) and Ethos leadership teams by creating and managing reports that provide insights and drive decisions on Talent Acquisition strategies. With a particular emphasis on innovating the approach to recruiting veterinarians, this individual will partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition to develop data-driven reports and create presentations that highlight trends, successes, and opportunities across the recruitment process. This role requires expertise in PowerBI and proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, along with a passion for using analytics to creatively "tell the story" of the Talent Acquisition team's efforts and results through the creation of executive presentations.
The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and solutions to help the team think creatively about how to present data, especially in PowerPoint, and will be intellectually curious, constantly educating themselves on industry trends. They will also work on special projects, including the Talent Acquisition bonus program and designing a Talent Acquisition scorecard.

Job Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Reporting & Analysis: Create and manage advanced reports and dashboards in PowerBI that provide actionable insights for Talent Acquisition and Operations leadership. Regularly update the team on key metrics, trends, and performance related to recruiting efforts, with a specific focus on veterinarian recruitment strategies. Strategic Partnership with Leadership: Collaborate with the TA and Ethos leadership teams to develop reports, presentations, and data-driven strategies that help shape recruiting and operational decisions. Use analytics to support the optimization of the recruiting process and improve talent acquisition strategies. Storytelling Through Data: Present complex data and insights in a clear, compelling way to leadership through PowerPoint and other visual formats. Focus on making the data accessible and actionable, helping leadership understand key trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement. Sourcing and Recruiting Innovation: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to innovate sourcing strategies for veterinarians, leadership, and technician roles. Utilize data to assess the effectiveness of current recruiting methods and recommend improvements to drive better results. Reporting on Key Metrics: Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including Career Site Experience, Candidate Volume, Productivity, and Cost of Hire. Use this data to inform strategy and process improvements. Special Projects: Lead and support special initiatives such as the Talent Acquisition bonus program, the creation of a Talent Acquisition scorecard, and any other projects that require advanced reporting and analytics. Market Research & Industry Trends: Conduct market research, gather industry best practices, and analyze internal feedback to inform the strategic direction of the Talent Acquisition team. Stay informed about emerging trends in talent acquisition and bring innovative ideas to the team. Collaboration Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with Technology, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition teams to provide data support for recruitment campaigns, candidate sourcing strategies, and new initiatives. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Ensure that reports and insights are shared effectively with stakeholders, providing clear recommendations and solutions based on the data. Respond to feedback from stakeholders to ensure that reporting and analytics continue to meet business needs.Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
Proven Expertise in Analytics: Extensive experience in managing, creating, and analyzing talent acquisition data to support strategic decision-making. Strong Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in PowerBI and advanced reporting techniques, including the ability to design clear, visually compelling reports and presentations. Proficiency with ATS and CRM systems (Avature or similar systems preferred). Experience with Talent Acquisition Metrics: A deep understanding of key TA metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate experience. Creative and Strategic Thinking: The ability to think creatively about how to present data, providing actionable insights that drive improvements and innovations in the recruitment process, especially for recruiting veterinarians. Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong track record of delivering results on time and within scope. Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with preference given to candidates with a Master’s degree. Proven Experience in Talent Acquisition: At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or related analytics roles, with a focus on recruiting strategies and reporting. Attention to Detail & Data Integrity: Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and integrity across systems and reports. Proficient in SQL and DAX – data manipulation, aggregation, and custom calculationsProficient in data modeling – transforming non-structured data into 3rd normal formProficient in Excel and PowerPoint – both manipulation and presentation of dataExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI – ETL transformation layer, reporting layer, and governing access (row level security experienced preferred)The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:

The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$130,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
