Job Description:

Lead clinical pharmacy programs focused on optimizing patient outcomes through evidence-based medication use and advanced data analytics.Develop and implement clinical protocols and treatment algorithms to enhance care quality and address chronic disease management.Guide and oversee the application of population health principles to identify patients for program enrollment, focusing on preventive care and addressing social determinants of health.Educate patients and healthcare providers on medication use, treatment options, and clinical strategies to improve health outcomes.Provide strategic direction and leadership for the pharmacy and clinical outcomes team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Recruit, train, and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance.Oversee the development of operational workflows, ensuring efficiency and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.Collaborate with leadership to establish departmental goals, priorities, and metrics for success.Spearhead efforts to build and maintain the pharmacy data warehouse for enhanced data mining and precision medicine initiatives.Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice, data science, and population health to integrate best practices into clinical operations.Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and technical teams, to elicit and document clear, concise, and detailed business needs and requirements.Analyze and prioritize business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goalDevelops a detailed project plan outlining tasks, deadlines, resources, and dependencies.Create detailed business needs/requirements documents, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams.Works closely with other teams outside the department of pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy business objectives and operational needs are represented and addressed when it comes to data infrastructure and analytics.Analyze and interpret complex clinical and business data sets to uncover trends, enhance decision-making, and guide strategic initiatives.Serve as a subject matter expert for reporting tools, such as dashboards and scorecards, to monitor and evaluate clinical, operational, and financial performance metrics.Use data insights to identify and recommend cost-effective, evidence-based treatment options that improve patient care.Optimize clinical outcomes for diverse patient populations through informed data analysis and actionable recommendations.Continuously refine data interpretation methods to align with organizational goals and improve healthcare delivery processes.

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Clinical Informatics, or related field.6 + years of job-related work experience.
