Manager, Physical Security Systems (Remote)
Work Flexibility: Remote

As a Manager, Physical Security Systems you will oversee and maintain Stryker’s physical security infrastructure globally. You will oversee and ensure the integrity, functionality, and efficiency of access control systems, surveillance cameras, visitor management, and intrusion detection technologies, including platforms such as Genetec, Motorola, and Rhombus, along with other advanced security solutions. You will address technical issues, implement system upgrades, and contribute to developing security policies and procedures to enhance the organizations overall security posture.

What you will do:

Manage and troubleshoot physical security systems, including access control (e.g., Genetec, Motorola, Rhombus), video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.Lead migration projects, partner with key stakeholders and suppliers in system design, upgrade projects, driving change management projects across the enterprise.Configure, and maintain security devices such as card readers, biometric systems, cameras, sensors, and alarms.Conduct preventive maintenance, including backups, error log reviews, and system integrity checks.Resolve system performance issues, analyze security data, and mitigate potential risks.Administer day-to-day operations, including firmware updates, software installations, and database management.Document system performance, service requests, and maintenance activities.Develop and maintain playbooks, policies, and other documents to establish governance, standards, and key performance metrics.Lead audits of physical security systems to ensure compliance with standards and other internal and external requirements.Provide technical support, escalate issues as needed, and manage vendor relationships.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for critical infrastructure protection.

What you need:

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, electronic engineering or other equivalent field of study.8+ years of physical security operations experience.Experience in enterprise physical security systems and hardware, cybersecurity principles, and risk management programs.Experience with network protocols, IP addressing, database management, data analysis, cloud-based systems (Azure or AWS).Experience of infrastructure technologies, operating systems, and emerging technologies.

Preferred

Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security electronics equipment with Genetec, Motorola, and Rhombus Control/Video Surveillance systems, Visitor management systems, intrusion detection systems, mass notification systems, and other physical security technologies.

Travel Percentage: 20%
