Having the ability to direct the evaluation of potential new molecules, provide recommendation, research viability and risks, monitor new molecule/company progress and development to safeguard the right products selection for Hikma’s pipeline and ensure Hikma is well positioned against competition through proper continued pipeline evaluation.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for MENA Injectable Pipeline Selection (identification, evaluation and recommendation) according to department strategy ensuring the right products are selected for Research & Development or BD through proper review and approval by Marketing director and MENA VP- Injectables Oversees comprehensive product evaluations to make product recommendations based on financials, aggregate risk and technologies Maintains and constantly updates a pipeline selection master list of products to review and recommend for future long-term planning, Monitors the overall state of the pipeline Leads the Hikma Product Selection meeting to ensure thorough preparation of each product’s selection business case and stakeholder participation Monitors and applies industry trends and intelligence to portfolio selection to ensure robust and successful product pipeline Collaborates with Business Development to identify potential new products and technologies

 

Qualifications:

BA Degree in healthcare & life sciences Portfolio management experience (preferably) Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical industry and at least 3 years in a relevant role Prior experience with Injectable products required Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, proficient with other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Word. Working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, e.g.: IQVIA Knowledge of Portfolio Selection methodologies (Preferably)
