Manager, Planning & Analytics

As the Manager of Planning & Analytics, you will lead a team of analysts dedicated to supporting fulfillment & procurement activities by refining and executing current processes and leading the development, automation, and scaling of tools and capabilities. Your guidance will be instrumental in spearheading reporting efforts, tool development, managing technical projects, and collaborating on tasks to improve data accessibility and data driven decision-making across the organization.

You’ll also partner with our technology product management team to shape the supply chain product roadmap to support a best-in-class procurement organization. You will collaborate with senior leadership to steer the team's roadmap, align its direction with organizational goals. Additionally, you will provide valuable mentorship, feedback, and coaching to foster analysts' professional growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

Lead a team of analysts/Sr analysts supporting fulfillment and procurement, covering tool development, data visualization, scenario planning, and ad-hoc analysis. Drive strategic initiatives to enhance procurement processes and foster continuous improvement efforts. Identify and execute initiatives aimed at optimizing fulfillment operations, identifying and/or executing cost-saving initiatives, and improving the customer experience. Act as the primary liaison between the technology product management team and non-tech business partners, to develop and execute on initiatives that align with organizational goals. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Tableau/Grafana to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and fulfillment metrics. Leverage cloud based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS to create scalable, efficient, and modern data infrastructures and applications. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all tools and platforms for effective decision-making. Regularly review existing tools and processes to identify inefficiencies and implement better solutions. Provide mentorship, feedback, and coaching to analysts to support their professional development.

 

Skills & competencies:

Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and mentoring a high performing team. Advanced Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (Including Google Apps Scrips) Advanced SQL Proficiency in Python Expertise in reporting and data visualization software (Preferred Tableau and/or Grafana) Familiarity with technical project management skills and software (JIRA preferred) Experience with data engineering & data orchestration tasks such as ETL, database management, and automation of data processes. Ability to dive deep into the details, uncover actionable takeaways, and effectively communicate these findings to senior leaders clearly and concisely.. Familiarity with Streamlit 

 

At a minimum, you have... 

A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required  5+ years experience in a data analytics/development role, with 2+ years experience leading a team. Structured approach and communication style: ability to clearly and persuasively communicate with a large variety of stakeholders. Quantitative and analytical experience (either through education or professional experience) including solid comfort in Excel, SQL, Python, etc.
