Manage and mentor team focusing on Platform Engineering to drive shift-left strategies, enabling our engineering teams to deliver faster, and more reliably.
What you'll do:Manage a team responsible for the developer enablement Design and develop self-service, standardized CI and CD pipelines to deliver software to production environments quickly, safely, and reliably.Promote best practices in cloud architecture, container orchestration, and automated deployments to support scalable and resilient infrastructure. Work closely with different stakeholders to align Operational priorities with planning the product and engineering roadmap Drive adoption of DevOps principles and tools across engineering teams to enhance developer productivity and reduce bottlenecks. Provide recommendations and feedback in review sessions, design reviews and review sessions. Establish a process for identifying common manual tasks and drive efforts to automate them Conduct and assist with investigations, test and deployment activities, identify and mitigate risks in the design process. Manage and mentor direct reports Guide your staff and other junior engineers in best practices.Promote a culture of inclusionBuild the team up technically and personallyEnsure they are happy and technically competentConsistently looks to improve MTTR o Creates Run/playbooks, consistently looks to improve MTTR, documents incidents, and is responsible for their life cycle in the SDLCOther duties as assigned.What we're looking for:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM fieldExperience required: Minimum of 6 years experience in Cloud environments, including administration, networking, performance monitoring, tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting; strong understanding of fundamental DevOps concepts including IT, CI/CD, containers, and works well with cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with the full lifecycle of SaaS implementations as well as Infrastructure as code. Excellent follow-up and project management skills Proven ability to create and maintain new tools Strong scripting skills. Experience working with a global workforce Strong customer-facing skills Ability to freely navigate challenges while obtaining the trust of one’s peers, strong listening, negotiation, and consensus-building skills required Strong experience in implementing and maintaining AWS environments Experience managing and supporting infrastructure for highly available, highly scalable, multi-tier web-based systems Knowledge of fundamental networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with direct reports working in different time zones. Ability to measure team performance through standardized key performance indicators€1 - €79,000 a year
