As a Managed Solution Consultant at Charles Schwab, you will provide clients with holistic wealth management in a team-based environment. During client consultations you will provide financial planning guidance and advice recommendations based on personal goals and objectives aligned with the client’s stated and uncovered needs. Specific responsibilities include:

 

Planning and Portfolio Strategies 

Partner with clients via scheduled phone-based interactions to engage in financial planning and discovery conversations Serve as a product expert for a variety of managed account solutions Prepare for client appointments by reviewing previous interactions and financial plan details to holistically address the client’s financial picture Quickly build rapport with clients and conduct discovery conversations to better understand their financial and wealth management needs  Provide education regarding financial planning and investment topics specifically focused around retirement planning, investment planning, education planning, banking, lending and credit management as well as insurance and risk management.

Business Development and Retention 

Demonstrate the value and importance of partnering with an investment professional regarding planning and investment needs as their financial circumstances evolve over time. Recommend and subsequently enroll clients into managed solutions based on the client’s individual plan and personal needs Apply a consultative approach to assess and determine appropriate solutions to meet client’s goals and needs Uncover development opportunities to further deepen our clients’ overall relationship with Schwab  

Relationship Management and Organization 

Manage client appointments and personal calendar to ensure availability and an efficient approach to engage with our clients Conduct follow-up appointment activities as needed to introduce clients to internal specialists and resources based on their individual needs Have a desire for consistent growth, striving to learn and improve to provide the best possible client experience. This includes embracing an agile mindset and the adoption of new processes and technology to improve the client experience Adhere to a risk-based approach that always puts the client’s interest first and prioritizes contact and engagement based on the clients needs and preferences

Required qualifications:

Active FINRA Series 7 Active FINRA Series 66 or 63 & 65Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience3 years of financial services experience
