This is an opportunity to lead pricing strategy and implementation for an innovative organization. Using sophisticated approaches, the role will implement recommendations on pricing strategy, price optimization, promotions, policies and tactics. You will also lead a cross-functional pricing council to decide and implement annual and ad-hoc price changes. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Insights and Analytics, you will accompany a team of research and domain specialists to deploy advanced methods to improve business results.
Responsibilities:
We expect this leader to be constantly curious and a self starter as we evolve our approach to meet omnichannel consumer and customer needs. You will collaborate across teams to build pricing and implement pricing decisions. You will also:
Lead a cross-functional Pricing Council through complex pricing decisions and analysis
Propose short & long term pricing actions aligned with enterprise strategy and outcomes
Partner across go-to-market functions to link promotional, program, and pricing decisions
Orchestrate and lead price changes (including CI, documentation, and execution)
Conduct ongoing analysis evaluating the P&L impact of price changes and experiments
Owns Discrete Choice Modeling (DCM) process and analysis to inform price decisions
Develop tools and processes to operationalize the pricing strategy, this will include piloting new methods/tools through targeted experimentation
Architect foundational toolsets for pricing practitioners
Champion data infrastructure improvements and tooling/software required for team success
Education & Experience:
We are seeking an analytically inclined professional with pricing experience who possesses:
Strong financial competence and experience navigating a P&L
Strong analytical capability – knowledge of statistical models and analytics principles
Collaborative mentality with ability to build relationships with internal partners
Solid understanding of pricing theories & their business application
Proven track record using analytical approaches in pricing decisions
Data-driven mindset and proven record of decision making
Experience communicating across technical & business audiences
Ability to learn continuously and adapt to a fast-paced market Experience crafting visualizations in Power BI (or other data visualization tool)
Proficiency in SQL to prepare data for analysis
