Manager, Private Wealth 
Location: Guernsey
Schedule: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week

Vacancy type:  6 month contract (commencing ASAP)

Intro:

The Manager, Private Wealth will be responsible for the closing of various portfolios of fiduciary structures; in accordance with the relevant Client Services Agreements and the various laws and regulations pertaining to the Group’s Guernsey regulatory licences.

The Key Responsibilities for the role are noted below and as the Manager you will also be expected to undertake any such duties that are deemed a reasonable requirement, for example, participating in closing case projects that may be related to the role.

Some of the things you will be doing:

Lead or assist as appropriate:

Manage the exiting of a number of complex fiduciary structures ensuring all administration procedures are adhered to;  As appropriate, liaise with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors and banks on all matters relating to this portfolio;  Develop and implement a communication and reporting plan that ensures regular and appropriate details are provided to your Leader; Lead projects as requested by the business and ensure these are completed accurately within the deadlines set; Demonstrate a strong communication ethos by leading effective communication and sharing technical knowledge;  Ensure that all client entity files are up to date; and Proactively keep an up-to-date awareness of current industry issues relating to closing cases matters.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:

Evidence of relevant experience in regulated finance or professional services, with the most recent position held in an Assistant Manager/Manager role; Must be able to demonstrate sound organisation skills and supervisory experience;  Solid understanding of the business and markets applicable to the business; Professional Qualification such as STEP, ICSA, or qualified by experience; Solid IT technical skills; and Drive personal Development using all the resources available to achieve success.
