ABOUT THE JOB
OneStream is looking for a Manager of Procurement to join our Accounting team. The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the global procurement process, managing vendor relationships, directing the procurement team, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This individual is a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of indirect spend and the needs of a software company. This role will be responsible for managing all global procurement activities including but not limited to leading/supporting projects, management of day-to-day activities, supporting internal and external audits, providing support/collaboration with other functional areas and leading system implementations/process improvement initiatives. This role will establish procurement mile markers, key performance indicators and metrics to hold the team accountable and move the business forward. This position will also analyze procurement information and prepare monthly reports to share with management.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, with continuous improvement, risk mitigation and quality controls. Effectively manage diverse staff including hiring, training, and staff development. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage supply base to ensure quality and cost effectiveness. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company goals and objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk mitigation. Partner with key internal stakeholders to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and support selection of most suitable vendors to meet objectives. Review and negotiate contracts ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. Identify opportunities to leverage information technology systems and automation to improve processes. Identify system enhancements and lead initiatives to implement improvements. Monitor and analyze procurement spend, implement cost saving measures and support budget adherence. Assist in development and analysis of KPI’s and functional goals that support business related strategies. Develop monthly management reporting supporting the analysis of procurement spend by commodity, KPI’s, metrics and functional goals. Responsible for communicating and raising issues, documenting, and overseeing resolution plans. Solid understanding of control concepts, with ability to evaluate and determine adequacy by considering business and technology risks to maintain segregation of duties and SOX compliance. Provide support to both internal and external to ensure requests and requirements are met accurately and addressed in a timely manner – with a focus on customer service. Serve as a backup to procurement process as necessary. Assist with Ad hoc projects as needed.
QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance or related field experience. 10+ years Global Procurement experience specializing in indirect spend, preferably within the software or technology industry.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, best practices and market trends in the region. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Proficient in negotiation and contract management. SOX controls, internal and external audit experience Familiarity with procurement software tools such as Coupa, DocuSign, CLM.

Comfortable communicating with all levels of management. Legally authorized to work for any company in the country where this position is located without sponsorship.
