The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing Curia’s procurement activities at the assigned regional, country, or site level. This role encompasses all aspects of Operational Procurement, including coordinating the management of procurement projects at the site and country levels, as well as handling local sourcing and negotiations. The managed spend covers both direct and indirect goods and services, requiring collaboration with Curia’s specialized procurement teams across the globe. Key operational duties include ensuring materials are available for production on schedule, minimizing inventory levels, and optimizing cash management. In managing procurement projects, the Procurement Manager must ensure functional alignment to streamline implementation and achieve early recognition of savings. Sourcing and negotiations are conducted at the country level with local suppliers or as directed by Procurement Management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: + Lead and manage the local Procurement operations team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and ensuring staff productivity + Drive the local implementation and adoption of Global Procurement standards, processes, and procedures, including delivering training and managing change initiatives + Ensure compliance with international and local procurement laws, company policies, and the Curia Code of Ethics and Business Conduct + Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase order management, supplier onboarding, transaction management, and resolution of invoice issues + Monitor and manage site cash flow, optimize economic order quantities, and ensure supplier payment terms are met. + Act as a single point of contact for all Procurement operations-related inquiries, feedback, and service escalations + Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring alignment with Category Management strategies + Manage supplier relationships, including performance management, risk management, contract negotiation, and compliance with company standards + Support the preparation and execution of local compliance and control initiatives, including local audits and adherence to procurement controls + Drive continuous improvement and simplification of procurement processes in alignment with Global Procurement operations + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess procurement activities' effectiveness and implement root cause analysis and remediation where necessary + Collaborate with Category Management on sourcing projects, resource allocation, and the development of category strategies + Construct and communicate cost savings initiatives, contributing to the Global Procurement Organization's Cost Improvement Program + Execute local eSourcing activities and support the capture of cost savings and avoidance during purchase order placement + Reduce administrative burdens in Procurement by eliminating non-value-adding activities, enabling the team to focus on higher-value contributions + Execute other procurement-related duties as assigned + Travel requirement: 0 – 15% of time + Read/interpret SOPs to ensure compliance + Maintain up to date trainings + Other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related field of study + Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional management role + Minimum of 5 years’ relevant related work experience + Recognized Qualification in Procurement, such as CPSM, preferred + Leading experience and knowledge in negotiation preparation and execution, preferred + Essential skills encompass adeptness in manufacturing and internet software, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
