But, to get to where we want to be, we are seeking a highly collaborative Manager to enhance and lead our product compliance strategies. **Find out more below!** **POSITION SUMMARY** As a key leader in Kohler Mira’s product development organisation, you’ll leverage your individual and leadership skills to deliver product compliance across our family of brands. You’ll build and harness expertise within your team to outline new innovation requirements, while simultaneously adapting the existing portfolio to an ever-changing compliance landscape. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Facilitate New Products.** Partner with internal and external stakeholders to clearly define product requirements and validation needs in all markets served. **Support Existing Products.** Collaborate with engineering, operations, and purchasing to organise and administer compliance of the existing product portfolio. **Mentor and Develop a Team of Associates.** Focus on building a diverse and adaptable organisation where associates can achieve their full potential. Develop associates and build capability for the future. **Build Expertise and Influence.** Remain up-to-date on industry and regulatory trends. Represent Kohler Mira to external networks and agencies. Influence and shape new requirements to the benefit of customers and the business. Proactively summarise relevant changes and educate the internal team. **Think Strategically.** Partner with leadership to create value, prioritise improvements, and optimise processes. Translate technical information into considered business insight, obtaining understanding and buy-in. **Foster Strong Relationships.** Help your team partner with Marketing, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Program Management to ensure business goals are understood and achieved. Communicate clearly and professionally. **Embrace Sustainability.** Identify synergies between certifications and the impact our products have on the environment. Integrate efforts with our focus on people, planet, and profit. **SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS** • Leads and manages performance and safety certifications for Kohler Mira products. • Coordinates portfolio of approvals work. Monitors resource capacity. Prioritises and assigns projects or tasks based on business needs and associate competency. • Negotiates with external agencies and associations to achieve clarity of requirements. Proactively works to maintain project timelines with external test houses. • Establishes department objectives to support broader engineering and business objectives. Determines tactics and approaches to achieve objectives. • Reviews and approves key deliverables. Assures functional results through application of appropriate knowledge, tools, and best practices. • Initiates and/or executes continuous improvement activities to enhance our systems, tools, products, and processes in conjunction with other teams or leaders. • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across the full organisation. • Collaborates globally to obtain necessary information and support to launch or maintain products outside the UK. • Documents and communicates key technical updates within and outside the department. • Conducts associate performance management reviews to establish and evaluate team progress. • Advocates for associate development. Supports career growth and competency development through intentional assignments, training, and coaching. • Plans and tracks expenses with external agencies. Forecasts annual budgets and actively monitors outstanding purchase orders. • Occasionally travels to conferences, test houses, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers. • Performs other duties as appropriate. **SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** •Preferably a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience •A minimum of 7 years' experience within product compliance •Exceptional leadership skills •Preferably an awareness of relevant standards OR similar demonstrated knowledge in a different industry. •Strong interpersonal and communication skills. •Organised and thorough. •Ability to adapt to changing priorities •Skilled at connecting technical knowledge to business needs. •An awareness of the global impact of codes, standards, and regulations. **We can offer you a lot in return!** We empower each associate to #BecomeMoreAtKohler with a competitive total rewards package to support your health and wellbeing, access to career growth and development opportunities, a diverse and inclusive workplace, and a strong culture of innovation.
