Manager, Product Development
**Manager - Product Development** **Location:** This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following Pulsepoint location. 3200 Greenfield Road, Deerfield, Michigan 90703 **Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm The **Manager of Product Development** will define strategic themes, business commercialization strategies, ingress/egress methodologies to formulate business reference architecture of the various annual in-flight initiatives. **How you will make an impact:** • Partners with end-to-end architecture to ensure inbound and outbound data flows protocols are aligned with the integration strategy to formalize a technical & functional roadmap definitions and dependencies. • Leads a catalog of integration protocols for data platform. • Leads a product team to develop & manage the tactical, evolutionary and strategic backlog using WSJF prioritization methodology and sign off on finalized set of prioritized features/stories within PDM Tools [JIRA & Confluence] prior to execution. • Monitors the critical path and will communicate in-flight initiative capability scope risk/creep while working with stakeholders to ensure a mitigation plan is in place to ensure MVP readiness. • Partners with data governance team to ensure data security per HIPAA & HITRUST standards, while ensuring in-flight initiatives are compliant and meet security standards. • Partners with engineering, legal & security, governance & architecture to ensure product are well integrated, deployed and successfully rolled out to production, while ensuring roll out meets initiative’s service-level objectives (SLOs) for adoption, performance, scalability and recovery of the data. • Partners with Product Director to define data platform metrics, OKRs and individual KPIs. • Partners and support data platform product team to define and manage capability matrix as a marketing collateral for the business. • Plans and articulate the business value of new technical capabilities to the consumers of the data platform. • Manages and mentor product owner function group. **Minimum Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s). **Additional Requirements:** Five (5) years of experience must include: • Five (5) years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Spring MVC. • Five (5) years of experience in Software development using Agile methodology. • Five (5) years of experience in Continuous integration and continuous delivery. • Five (5) years of experience in Mentoring and coordinating team members to drive business requirements. • Five (5) years of experience in Collaborating with business, external entities and other IT teams to deliver planned initiatives. • Four (4) years of experience with PL/SQL, SQL Server and MongoDB. • Four (4) years of experience in Micro service development and an API Manager. **Alternate Education/Experience Requirements:** Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s). Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the above listed skills. **Certification Requirements:** Professional Scrum Master and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications.
