Title and Summary
Manager, Product Management, Global DebitDebit remains a foundational product for Mastercard and its customers, consumers, and partners around the world – allowing consumers to pay and get paid for goods and services through seamless and secure payments experiences anytime, anywhere, and anyhow. This team sits within the broader Consumer Products and Processing organization and is responsible for all elements of debit product management – including defining and driving a differentiated product line strategy, maintaining debit product integrity, evaluating debit performance, developing debit insights, intelligence and thought leadership, and more.Role:
•\tSupport ‘core’ product management activities – including refreshing debit’s product line strategy for all relevant consumer segments, reviewing debit core value propositions, driving debit performance optimization, leading product governance, and pushing to close product gaps
•\tSupport strategic partnership and optimization efforts to enhance debit’s competitive differentiation
•\tHelp lead research that informs current and future debit products, in support of the debit product line strategy
•\tLean into debit product development efforts i.e., delivering new capabilities and business models to accelerate growth of the debit business and open up new revenue streams that are aligned with the overall debit strategy
•\tHelp manage debit product integrity in accordance with the intended consumer experience the product and value proposition will deliver, and the basis upon which it will be differentiated from competitors
•\tPartner closely with Consumer Solutions colleagues (e.g. Manager Global Credit Product Management) to ensure alignment and consistency between product line strategies and approaches
•\tPartner with regional and market colleagues to monitor execution against the global debit product line strategy, including but not limited to ensuring ongoing CVP modernization/optimization, providing PLS toolkits, etc.
•\tPartner with regional and market colleagues in refining debit product strategies in key strategic markets
•\tMonitor debit’s competitive and regulatory landscape, and help drive to debit insights, intelligence, best practices, and thought leadership
•\tConduct analyses on debit’s financial, operational, and competitive performance and disseminate insights and proposed actions
•\tPartner with marketing and communications to support development of a strong internal and external narrative globally around debit
•\tSupport customer teams in key commercial opportunities around debit where required
•\tSupport on the development of training and other product support materials for debit products
All About You:
•\tBachelors degree required
•\tExposure to financial services, with payments/card industry experience preferred
•\tPrior product management and/or strategic consulting experience preferred
•\tStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple complex cross-functional projects and drive to impact
•\tStrong influencing skills and ability to drive initiatives/results through colleagues across a matrix organization at all levels
•\tStrong analytical skills with ability to extract actionable insights from raw data
•\tSuperior communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
