Job Description

Manager, Product ManagementJoin our dynamic Production Chemicals and Services (PCS) team within the BioProduction Group and lead the product portfolio strategy and execution. This role offers a blend of strategic leadership, global exposure, and the chance to drive innovative solutions in a constantly evolving industry.

What you will doExpand product portfolio to meet global customer needs and develop strategies for new products and services.Lead and build up the Portfolio Management function, adding critical talent and capabilities.Manage existing supplier relationships and assess portfolio gaps to align with new suppliers.Act as a link between internal collaborators, regional teams, and key accounts to champion our product.Craft and implement successful product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Be responsible for the financial success of new supplier engagements and new product introductions (NPIs).Maintain close interaction with the field organization, supporting sales processes and customer interactions.Develop a portfolio expansion strategy that builds a compelling value proposition with new strategic supplier partners.Perform market research, define market trends, and investigate customer needs.Research and develop new market applications, refining portfolio expansion in priority market segments.Collaborate with other product managers and key collaborators from different functional areas.Lead the PCS catalog chemicals P&L, supplier product costs, and recommend customer pricing.Collect and assess voice of customer to inform decisions on portfolio mix, category strategy, and GTM strategy.

How you will get there!Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, business, or an equivalent; MBA desirable.5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or business development.Managerial experience preferredConsistent record to identify and implement strategic opportunities, set ambitious objectives, and drive key business priorities.Exeprience negotiating complex multi-year contracts or supply agreementsProven ability to make complex decisions in ambiguous circumstances.Experience working effectively in a matrix management structure and partnering seamlessly within the organization.Strong ability to develop and maintain cross-functional working relationships and influence others without direct authority.Experience with financial modeling and data analysis skills.Excellent interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.High ethical standards supporting a professional business code of conduct.Prior experience in the Biopharma industry, especially in manufacturing and distribution of cGMP Production Chemicals, is strongly preferred.
