Overview
Mastercard's Global Acceptance team focuses on making Mastercard the best way to pay everywhere. With our powerful suite of payment products, we are working on shaping the payments experiences of the future. The In-Person Acceptance team is responisble for in-person acceptance solution product development and go-to-market efforts, advancing contactless use-cases and adoption, and maintaining our cash access strategy. Contactless now represents more than two of every three in-person switched purchase transactions, up from one and three prior to the pandemic, and we are continuing to expand this seamless experience to a variety of commerce use cases.
The team is looking for a Manager to lead our Contactless efforts and support other strategic initatives across the team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and excels at working on cross-functional projects.
Role
• Responsible for driving and tracking Contactless penetration globally, including working with regions on KPI setting and identifying priority markets / initiatives to accelerate growth.
• Develop and maintain Contactless thought leadership materials and ensure socialization throughout the organization to continue to showcase the power of contactless
• Monitor product dashboards and work with Data & Analytics team to identify and implement enhancements
• Support additional key In-Person Acceptance initiatives as needed, including acceptance quality and contactless acceptance solutions under MPOS umbrella
• Leverage working knowledge of Mastercard business, systems, products and customer requirements in making fact-based business and product decisions
• Leverage data & dashboards to quickly identify Product performance challenges, making recommendations on proposed action plans
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, (e.g. customer and stakeholder interactions)

• Foundational background in product management, product development or consulting
• Strong analytical skills with track record of translating data into compelling insights, market assessments and business cases
• Excellent communication & influencing skills to work with cross functional stakeholders
• Excellent project management and execution skills, with strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
• Understands and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
