The Actimize Surveillance-X Platform addresses a rapidly expanding market, empowering organizations to stay ahead of regulatory and financial risks. As the Manager of the Actimize Compliance Product Management team in India, you will play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring a team of Product Owners. Your responsibilities will include shaping product vision, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring product development aligns with strategic business goals. You will drive capability enhancement, practice maturity, and the successful execution of product strategies to deliver maximum value to clients. Additionally, you will focus on building team competencies, providing performance management, and fostering growth through mentorship and leadership.
What you will be doing?
Lead and Manage the Product Owner Team: Mentor, guide, and support Product Owners to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and high performance. Oversee performance management and professional growth of team members. Strategic Product Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals. Backlog Management: Supervise the creation, prioritization, and refinement of product backlogs to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Provide support and guidance to Product Owners in roadmap and backlog development. Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams—including development, marketing, sales, and customer support—to gather requirements, set priorities, and communicate product updates effectively. Delivery Oversight: Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements that meet quality standards. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and promote Agile methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the product development lifecycle. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data, analytics, and customer feedback to make informed product decisions and adjustments. Market Research and Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to maintain product competitiveness. Cultivate and promote thought leadership within the organization and the industry. Conflict Resolution and Escalation Management: Intervene in internal and client escalations, address performance challenges among Product Owners, and resolve inter-personal or inter-team conflicts effectivelyHave you got what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) Product Management certification is a plus Over 15 years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or a similar role, with 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial position Significant exposure to the BFSI domain; knowledge of Fraud, AML, and Compliance is highly desirable Experience working in a matrix organization and managing cross-functional teams Familiarity with Cloud technologies and Analytics is an advantage Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with hands-on experience in Agile product development Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps, managing multiple priorities effectively Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to lead teams and influence stakeholders Highly proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and in high-stakes situations Comfortable working in an environment with a degree of ambiguity, making informed decisions and guiding teams confidently Strong multitasking abilities and adept at balancing competing priorities Proven track record of navigating complex challenges and driving successful outcomesWhat’s in it for you?
