Job Description:

   

Designs, plans, develops and manages a product or portfolio of products throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of life.

Management Level Definition:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Typically reports to MG2 or Director. 

Additional guidance/criteria: Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region which is part of a larger geographical Region; Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 2 - 4 direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.

Responsibilities:

Leads and drives the approach for the end to end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more products or portfolio.Leads and drives defining the value proposition, customer segmentation, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to the market.  (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/margins, financials, market share).For one or more products, leads and drives the synthesis of market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen.Aligns product lifecycle to business segment goals across all phases of the product and business segment lifecycles (e.g. planning, development, launch, management, exit).Leads product team and drives the evaluation and assessment of the key operational metrics (ie: revenue unit/margins, market share, quality performance, channel route to market, quarterly financials and on time to delivery).

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.10+ years of work experience in related field.Proven ability to define and execute a business strategy that drives operational excellence & profit.Strong technology foundation and business acumen and understand the technology strategy in the market.Demonstrated experience leading people and teams on complex projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

You have an excellent knowledge of Cloud technology i.e AWS, Azure for design and architecture.You have networking knowledge on WLAN and Wired technologies.Advanced team and people management skills, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.Advanced skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis.Advanced business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.

Strong understanding of wired and wireless networking technologies and ability to demonstrate them.

Drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.

Extensive skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis.

Extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.

Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.

Extensive experience with multiple networking vendor equipment. for example, Juniper and/or Cisco

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. USD Annual Salary: $133,500.00 - $307,000.00
