Summary of the role

The product management manager will work with existing and potential airline customers to identify business requirements, technical requirements and business process changes. This position involves collaboration with clients, third parties, and other Navitaire teams to identify and address complex problems and to deliver solid, successful, innovative products and solutions that support our customer’s objectives. The manager will also lead teams of business analysts and will guide and mentor teams to achieve the product’s business objectives and priorities.

In this role you’ll

Help team articulate & develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements and articulate them into new product requirements.Work in the context of more than one agile team(s) and is proficient in the application of the agile practices in terms of product backlog management.Prioritize work of scrum teams taking into account company priorities.Refine the product backlog so that maximum product value is derived from integrated increment created by the scrum teams.Help team in breaking down PBIs in a manner that works for the team, the product, and in alignment with committed goals and targets.Transform the high-level vision of the product manager and portfolio lead into detailed requirements, working closely with a range of stakeholders for the product, including non-customer stakeholders such as finance, security, operations, support, audit, and others.Translates the communicated product strategy into a concrete action plan and monitors targets for the team.Interface directly with clients to understand and document specific business problems and opportunities.  Guides team to the same.Incorporate client feedback into sprints and work with business analysts to come up with user stories.Present functional demonstrations of new and existing software features.Collaborates with other teams to ensure impact analysis is performed.Constantly aligns with stakeholders, product managers, portfolio leads, development, and QA lead to ensure that the team is tracking in the right direction of company and product priority.Support co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business value.Support sales pursuits involving existing and prospective customersCoordinate different functional and technical streams with relevant teams to ensure end to end solution consistency.Participate in Agile events (PI/sprint planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops…) when applicable / required.Ensures that overall product goal is clear and stakeholder directions are properly communicated to promote better team collaboration.Constantly align and communicate with leadership teamManage a team of business analysts and guides them in requirements writing, analysis, issue resolution, and backlog management.Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, escalating issues only when necessaryIdentifying and implementing improvement opportunities for the product.Collaborate with leadership (QA, Dev, Product) aiming for leadership alignment promoting better team collaborationWork with the team and the scrum master to ensure implementation of agile best practices.Work with the team to ensure work item progress preventing blockers, delays or stagnant action itemsGuide the team to translate the strategy of the activity into a concrete action plan for the area, setting and monitoring targets for the team.Flexible, able to adjust to the needs of the team but still ensuring best practice implementation

About this ideal candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Management or similar discipline with good academic records.At least 10+ years of Business Analysis, System Analysis, Development or Testing or related role with experience in supervisory or leadership role.At least 5 years experience in people/team managementExposure in functional requirements writing OR business/systems analysis OR business process design/consulting OR systems development OR systems testing a plus·     Good analytical, logic and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.Able and willing to collaborate well with both internal and external teams inclusive of clients and non-client stakeholders (i.e. Dev, QA, product leadership)Handle and identify alignment within team discussionsProven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills·Flexible work schedule; willing to travel    Amenable to work on a 50% Hybrid setup·     Amenable to work in BGC Taguig
