Responsibilities and accountabilities for this Manager role include but are not restricted to the following areas:

Assist in developing Master Schedule requirements from demand forecast, plant capacity, and historical data. Interact with production and sales personnel to update and advise of progress and new developments. Manage volume and manufacturing location changes as needed to meet customer requirements Monitor inventories of raw material, work in process, and finished good in an effort to minimize costs and achieve plant inventory goals Oversee development and maintenance of tools that enhance production planning capability. Audit plant for compliance in department standards and practices Assure inside sales and plants utilize the ‘system’ through on site auditing and clear tracking metrics Maintain accurate needs attention inventory and implement measures for improvement Drive continuous improvement through training and strategic planning
