The Manager of Production Support and Engineering will lead and optimize the delivery of critical production support services. This role will manage priority incidents and production support processes in high-impact environments while collaborating effectively with cross-functional business and technology teams to ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities would include:
Own and resolve issues escalated by business users to ensure seamless operations.
Facilitate and lead technical troubleshooting for complex and high-visibility technology incidents, ensuring maximum system availability by engaging the appropriate teams and leaders.
Manage and lead a team responsible for production support of all priority incidents including escalations from clients.
Identify systemic client-impacting issues and escalate them to the appropriate teams.
Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve problem escalation, tracking, reporting, and resolution processes.
Collaborate with business and technology teams supporting other digital applications to ensure alignment and deliver consistent client experiences.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with partners and third-party suppliers involved in the delivery and support of digital platforms.
Ensure the timely creation, production, and maintenance of fiscal management reports, including new and ad hoc requests.
Lead and execute continuous improvement and compliance initiatives, DevOps practices, and Client Integrations.
Stay informed of organizational changes and assess their potential impact on processes and applications.
Job Qualifications:
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in managing technology teams, preferably 24x7 production support teams.
Minimum 3 years of support in cloud-based data technologies.
Education
A BS in Computer Science or an equivalent degree is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise
Good knowledge of risk management, configuration management, and disaster recovery (SIGMA/ITIL).
Experience leading cloud operations teams using the following technologies Familiarity with SaaS, Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), MS Azure, Anthos, CI/CD pipelines, Java, Angular, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft stack.
Industry Experience:
