This position is for a Strategic Planning & PMO Manager. The position is responsible for prioritizing and driving the work of the network modeling team, which translates modeling results into analytical insights that inform financial and business case recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. This position will oversee multiple large-scale, complex initiatives and will have ownership of several core tools/processes for one or more production platforms. The ideal candidate will have sharp business acumen and a proven ability to strategize and implement strategic and large-scale program initiatives. This position is for someone who is motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment. Coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives. Manage funding channels for maximum productivity
Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Serve as the primary communication point to teams such as flow planning, supply chain financial planning, and transportation
Create and maintain platform-based network optimization models and long-term capacity planning tools
Oversee the creation of long-term capacity planning tools based upon multi-year forecast projections and demonstrated production efficiencies
Develop and execute processes to identify long-term capacity gaps and solutions, assist in the development of multi-year strategic infrastructure plan
Present Network Planning/ Capacity Planning/ Flow Planning project-based findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership
Coordinate and track progress of implemented projects and work streams. Provide workstream and process updates as needed
Oversee the update and maintenance of tools used for modeling and project assessments. Including the support of opportunities identified as part of a 5-year capability road map
Identify opportunities to leverage new software or tools that improve process efficiency in the area of network optimization
Lead independently to determine best possible methods and procedures to deliver against strategic planning assignments.
Qualifications:
5+ years supply chain, engineering, or finance experience with network modeling and optimization experience, required
5+ years of large scale program management experience, involving multiple cross functional stakeholders and senior leadership, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Master’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel
