POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage the lighting design for various indoor spaces and building exteriors to ensure optimal visual effects and ambiance.Manage projects related to lighting to ensure the finished products meet the design concept.Develop lighting design standard and guidelines

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with Interior Designer and Lighting Designer to determine the lighting design requirement and stylesManage the Lighting Designer to develop the lighting schemes for both interior and exterior spaces, including the selection, arrangement and control of lighting equipmentCollaborate with Lighting Designer and MEP Consultant to develop the lighting circuity and control methodologyEnsure comprehensive tender document on lighting are prepared according to the tendering scheduleSupervise the installation and commissioning of lighting, ensuring that the on-site lighting effects meet the design requirementCollaborate with Interior Designer and Lighting Designer to adjust and test the lighting during construction and completion phases to achieve optimal lighting effectsParticipate the handover process to end usersDevelop the lighting design standards and guidelines to ensure all designs meet the company’s standardsMonitor and evaluate the progress of lighting design, and to identify and address potential risks and issue to the management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in lighting design, interior design, or a related fieldFamiliarity with various lighting equipment and control systems/technology, and proficiency in lighting design softwareExcellent creativity and visual aesthetic skills to design engaging interior and exterior lighting effectsWith strong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and adapt to flexible working hours, including public holidays if needed.Willing to travel or work overseas if requiredAt least 7 years working experience in related field. Having experience in large-scale interior and exterior design projects will be an advantage
