Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) manages over 2 billion customer interactions annually for Capital One. SCS partners with over 25 suppliers and is accountable for ~$1B spend. As a Manager Project Manager in SCS, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for our Well-Managed Solutions team (WMS). You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company. General Responsibilities:
Own and present key WMS metrics in various forums (i.e. monthly and quarterly business reviews) with key stakeholders across multiple management levels
Ability to tell stories with data and clearly communicate the key focus points to stakeholders
Manage all WMS data shares, data dashboards and ad hoc data support for the Supply Chain Operations team
Provide project management support and maintain project planning for all WMS special projects and coordination of BAU (business as usual) work
Attend change controls forums on behalf of WMS to determine impacts to the team/ involvement needed
Manage and maintain the control summary dashboards to ensure controls owned by WMS are being executed according to SLA (Service Level Agreements) and meeting performance targets
Any additional support or responsibilities as requested by WMS leadership
An ideal candidate will be experienced with:
Having excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Exhibiting outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
Demonstrating a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
Displaying a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style
Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in the office (McLean, VA or Richmond, VA) and the remainder of the week working virtually.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
At least 3 years of Project or Process Management Experience
At least 3 years of Data Management experience
At least 2 years of People leadership experience
At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years of Project or Process Management Experience
At least 5 years of Data Management experience
At least 3 years of People leadership experience
Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
