Manager, Project Management - Hotel R&D

About the role

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our team of Delivery Managers, overseeing a variety of exciting projects within the Hotel R&D organization.

This role is about coordinating with diverse stakeholders, ensuring the seamless delivery of our commitments to programs, and driving continuous improvement in our delivery processes. The successful candidate will not only ensure timely and efficient delivery, but also maintain alignment with our strategic goals and foster a collaborative and thriving work environment.

Your responsibilities

Project management  

Oversee and support all projects managed by the Delivery Managers, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Address any escalations or issues that arise during execution.Proactively identify and manage project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and facilitate stakeholder meetings and reviews.

Team management

Coordinate allocation of the resources and controls budget for the resources in the area of responsibility-Ensure team members are engaged, that expectations are set and that they have what they need to perform.Participate in recruitment process. Conduct appraisals and performance reviews. Provide regular feedback to team members. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Delivery Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Encourage continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Standardize our practices

Standardize our processes across program and deliveries. Ensure that the team follows established project management methodologies and standards.Develop a vision for our delivery project management and grow the team accordingly (in skills and size)Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery. provide inputs to improving the tooling to increase efficiency.  

About our ideal candidateAt least 3 years managing a team: performance management, skills development, budget and resource management.Extensive experience in IT project management.Proven ability to standardize and implement best practices.Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-product and cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of budget management and data analysis.Problem-solving, risk management, and data analysis skills.Demonstrate proficiency in adapting to and embracing changes within a constantly evolving environment.Fluent in English.
