The EVA organization is dedicated to running Ecosystem Validation and Acquisitions, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. We work closely with various organization in Amadeus, interacting with many stakeholders (PM, PMM, CSM, SAM, DEM, …)  to deliver exceptional value to our customers. Summary of the role:

The Manager, QA for the EVA organization will be responsible for leading a team of QA Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our products worldwide. This role involves defining and implementing test strategies, overseeing validation campaigns in applying ecosystem validation techniques and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Manager, QA will also be accountable for monitoring the efficiency of the QA processes and driving continuous improvement.

In this role you’ll:

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for various validation campaigns.Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.Monitor and analyse the results of test campaigns, ensuring that they meet the required standards.Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA processes.Ensure clear and effective communication with stakeholders through regular QA reports and validation signoffs.Understand and translate customer needs into operational services, ensuring that quality is embedded early in the deployment process.Support customers during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or pilot phases.Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from product development to market readiness.Drive initiatives for cost reduction and efficiency improvement within the QA organization.Stimulates an innovative environment by allowing some degree of experimentation and errors to happen.

About the ideal candidate:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in QA management, preferably within the technology or software development industry.Clear understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with test automation and cloud testing is a plus.
