Manager, Real World Data Science
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design and implementation of designing and delivering RWD studies, ensuring scientifically rigorous methods. Support the identification of analytical problems in RWE and develop data-driven solutions.Serve as an expert and drive the utilization and scaling of data/insight tools and systems. Participate in data mining and statistical analysis of RWE datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.Develop and maintain programming macros/tools for efficient support, including their development, implementation, and upkeep. Apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to extract insights, build predictive models, and align with future technology roadmaps. Contribute to building a robust RWD/RWE environment, including statistical planning and promoting innovative solutions and operational excellence. Stay current on industry advancements in AI/ML and promote their efficient use across teams. Implement data visualization techniques to communicate findings and contribute to developing data-driven healthcare solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data analysis specifications and facilitate effective communication of insights. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment, manage risks, and ensure smooth project progression. Uphold best practices in data science, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and efficient documentation.
WHO YOU ARE
Advanced degree in quantitative fields such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, epidemiology, or a related field Track records in leading/managing projects involving cross- functional teams and expertise Desirable Ph.D. in related field and/orqualified medical doctorExperience in one or more of the following areas, including but not limited to Market Access, Commercial, Epidemiology, R&D, Data Science, and/or Medical Affairs (ideally 3 or more years) Familiarity with real-world evidence (RWE), pharmaco-epidemiology, or health outcomes research is a plus. Basic experience in statistical programming (e.g., R, Python, SAS) or database programming (SQL) is preferred. Understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques is an advantage.Exposure to routinely collected data sources (e.g., claims databases, electronic health records) is a plus.Understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non- technical audiences. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
