**Job Description :**
The SRA Regulatory Manager will ensure the company maximizes priority advocacy opportunities to support both existing and new products and ingredients. This role will support the development of advocacy positions and coordination of regulatory engagement via internal forums and externally through our industry associations.
The Regulatory Manager will collaborate with SRA and cross-functional (especially PACS, QSE, and GDI) partners at Corporate and in the Operating Units to ensure the right topics and forums are prioritized and to support the collaboration of teams as needed. The role also will include working with subject matter experts across SRA to develop proof points and other resources for advocacy efforts.
**What You'll Do for Us:**
+ Internal Advocacy Coordination: Coordinate company input to and/or participation in strategically important Codex Committees, including Committees with SME and/or regional leadership outside the immediate team.
+ Support Cross-Functional Collaboration for Global External Advocacy: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a science-based perspective underpins our comments on new/updated regulations, and help develop and socialize comments and other advocacy resources to Operating Units
+ Regulatory and Policy Tracking and Analysis: Working with senior team members, identifying and suggesting ways to address risks and opportunities related to regulatory and policy headwinds.
+ Trend Awareness and Horizon Scanning: Stay abreast of activities at key global standard setting bodies as well as scientific and regulatory trends that can offer opportunities to unlock growth. Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends and developments in policies, regulations, and nutrition science.
+ Straightforward Scientific Communications: Translate complex regulatory and scientific information into simple, easy-to-understand facts.
+ External Engagement: Be prepared to actively advocate in relevant industry and scientific organizations for company positions when needed.
**Qualifications:**
+ Master's degree in food science, nutrition or equivalent required.
+ 3+ years of work experience in the beverage or food industry in scientific and regulatory affairs.
+ General understanding of key trends in the global public health and/or regulatory landscape affecting the food and beverage industry
+ Knowledge of international food standard setting organizations and processes; experience with participation a plus.
+ General understanding of the technological need for food additives as well as contaminants potentially found in foods.
+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
+ Available to be in the office in person on a regular basis.
Pay Range:$105,000 - $129,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:15
Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
