Job Description

To grow and retain a portfolio of high-value Growth Segment relationships through partnering for growth by proactively providing a high-end differentiated service and value-adding solutions.

Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and retain a portfolio of high-value Growth Segment clients, ensuring long-term profitability and client satisfaction.Conduct thorough financial analyses and risk assessments to identify opportunities for business growth and mitigate potential risks within the entrepreneurial environment.Provide expert advice and tailored financial solutions to meet the complex needs of high-value clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business operations and industry-specific challenges.Proactively manage client relationships through regular engagement, anticipating needs, and delivering high-end, differentiated services that exceed expectations.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement value-adding solutions that address clients' evolving financial requirements and support their business growth objectives.Prepare and present comprehensive credit applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with organisational and regulatory standards.Monitor and analyse portfolio performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' businesses, providing timely and relevant insights to support informed decision-making.Cultivate and maintain a network of professional contacts within the business community to facilitate client introductions and identify new growth opportunities.Contribute to the development and refinement of departmental strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance overall portfolio performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum NQF7 qualification in Business CommerceFAIS competency certification

Professional Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a client-facing sales role, preferably within the banking sectorDemonstrated expertise in managing portfolios within the entrepreneurial environmentProven track record in understanding business operations, risk assessment, and financial requirements pertaining to the entrepreneur marketPrior experience as an Account Analyst or in a Relationship Management role, with responsibility for servicing business customers and preparing credit applications

Preferred Experience:

Background in agricultural finance and operations

Key Competencies:

In-depth understanding of business risks and industry-specific challengesProficiency in financial analysis and credit assessmentStrong relationship management and client retention skillsAbility to provide high-end, differentiated service and value-adding solutions
