Manager, Release to MarketAbout Your Business Area/Department:

The Release to Market team aims to ensure that our products are released efficiently to meet customer needs and expectations. We accomplish this by orchestrating a defined release plan, identifying and mitigating risks, and engaging stakeholders to complete activities necessary to release our products to market. Our goal is to effectively communicate and collaborate across the entire organization to reduce time to market, increase profitability, and improve customer experience.

Summary of the role:

Amadeus Hospitality is a prominent entity within the travel industry. The Release to Market Manager will be tasked with overseeing the successful delivery of products and features from the product development phase to operational readiness and general release. This responsibility includes managing the established Release to Market process, coordinating closely with the product roadmap timelines, facilitating intake into relevant release team meetings, validating steps and deliverables from all pertinent internal departments (such as Training, Consulting, Support, and Commercial), and steering attendees toward an agreed-upon general release date. The role also involves ensuring the removal of blockers and making necessary adjustments to the process.

In this role you’ll:

Drive product release to market strategy - focusing on operational readiness, priority management, key performance indicators, risk analysis, blocker mitigationWork with and influence cross functional teams including sales, product development, operations, customer care, and marketing to deliver against product growth milestones and deliverables through a defined release methodologyEnsure Release to Market process is followed through the usage of Microsoft Planner to ensure all responsible departments and tasks are captured and tracked.Contribute significantly to the development of our product roadmap by actively participating in and leading the process for Beta testing and controlled release pilots.Ensure KPIs are established with product leaders to track achievable and trackable metrics. These are reported during quarterly meetings with leadership and to HIT leadership on key initiatives.Tasks:Collaborate with product managers on intake and documentation of releasesCollaborate with product operations manager to create team channel and cards for trackingIdentify release impact to stakeholder teams.Facilitate release teams to ensure all aspects of operational & sales readiness are achieved for new product releases, driving release dates and ensuring completion of tasks by assigned teams/individuals.Schedule deep dive meetings as needed to discuss details and ensure there is a clear understanding of the release.Coordinate with Product and other teams for PI Intent Reviews and attend meetings on new initiatives and releases.· Review upcoming meetings to determine topics and provide agendas in advance

About the ideal candidate:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management and/or Product Management. Hospitality/travel experience preferred but not required.

Relevant Work Experience:Experience working with Agile methodologies, with a strong preference for Scaled Agile Framework experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience working within an industry standard product management method-ology.Experience in project management, preferably including product management.Experience with hospitality interfacing standards such as HTNG, OTA, etc.General knowledge of the Hospitality or Travel industry

Business Understanding:Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams (product, operations, customer care, sales and marketing, etc.)Ability to drive outcomes in a rigorous, result driven environment.Demonstrated capacity to set up processes, ensure transparency through executive-level reporting, and secure agreement to meet established deadlines.Basic understanding of Amadeus’ offeringUnderstands principles of the industry in which we operate

Skills:Computing: Microsoft operating systems with a focus on Teams and Planner, networks, Salesforce.Languages: Proficient in English with additional language a plus.Specific Knowledge: Hospitality industry knowledge and Project Management.Uses structured logic and methods to solve problems. Proposes effective solutions based on own and team’s ideas and feedback.Able to adapt to change and shifting priorities.
