**Position Description**
The Manager - Restaurant Systems Administration will be responsible for managing and optimizing all technology systems within the restaurant, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and other operational software. This role will work closely with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support staff training on technology tools.
**Essential responsibilities will include:**
+ Systems Oversight: Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of all restaurant technology systems, ensuring they function effectively and efficiently.
+ Technical Leadership: Lead technical support initiatives, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolutions to minimize operational disruptions.
+ Staff Training & Development: Design and implement training programs for staff on technology systems, ensuring comprehensive understanding and effective use.
+ Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending technological solutions to enhance efficiency.
+ Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor data integrity, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to management for better decision-making.
+ Vendor Management: Liaise with technology vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and support services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
+ Security & Compliance: Ensure that all systems comply with industry standards for data security, including safeguarding customer information and payment data.
+ Project Management: Lead technology-related projects, from planning to execution, to enhance restaurant operations.
+ Inventory Management: Oversee the integration and management of inventory systems, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient stock control.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
**Desired Skills and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Proven experience in a management role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
+ Strong knowledge of POS systems and related restaurant technologies.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.
+ Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
+ Familiarity with inventory management and workforce scheduling software is a plus.
+ Understanding of data security practices and compliance standards.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
