What you can expect from this position:

In this exciting opportunity you'll identify and develop new revenue streams, support reporting and analysis of existing commercial operations, and lead strategic initiatives to drive growth and optimize performance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to conduct varying analysis, due diligence, and strategic planning, helping Toronto Pearson chart new commercial territory and drive revenue and commercial performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a skilled project manager with a passion for collaboration and commercial development.

As Manager Revenue Diversification and Commercial Performance, you will:

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and diversification Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to foster collaboration and identify potential partnerships Perform varying analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence, to assess the viability of new business initiatives, lead the development of business cases and varying opportunity assessments Support the structuring and negotiation of complex deals, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives and lead commercial analysis to support existing commercial businesses Team Player and critical member of a high-performing team of business development professionals

The salary for this management non-unionized position is competitive based on the successful candidate’s qualifications.

This is the role for you, if you have:

Post-secondary degree with a concentration in Business/Commerce, Economics, Finance or Marketing and/or 5 of years of combined equivalent work experience and education Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic growth/sales, business development, marketing or similar field Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in People Management (direct report or cross-functional) Demonstrated experience working in a customer centric environment Obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

Strong eye for business and communication skills Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and project management skills are required to maintain existing relationships, develop new relationships and work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment Proven track record to develop a positive and collaborative team environment, and work in partnership with multiple collaborators internally and externally, at varying seniority levels Creative and innovative problem solver, coupled with a proactive, resourceful and determined approach to problem solving and driving results Comfortable with ambiguity or new situations Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with a strong experience of partner management Ability to think strategically, critically and cross-enterprise Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
