As a manager in the Risk Management department, you’ll be responsible to manage risk, forecast losses and ensure financial reserve reliability. Bring your expertise in finance, analytics, and leadership to help us deliver insights that matter. Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and corporate finance, to ensure alignment on risk reserving and mitigation. Work together with the Director of Risk Management on all aspects of various property and casualty insurance programs, including analyzing exposure data and loss information, preparing and delivering presentations to our insurance markets and summarizing results. Additional responsibilities include:
Manage funding of claims escrow accounts and verify loss report accuracy.Manage monthly reconciliation reports to verify loss payments to general ledger. Manage funding and obtain appropriate authorizations on all insurance invoices and wires.Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage financial planning by preparing and managing cash flow forecasts, reserve estimates, and budget allocations.Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders, translating data into meaningful insights.Manage certificate of insurance production with brokers and insurance companies to ensure compliance with insurance policies and contracts. Implement AI solutions.Design and develop department document management system to optimize workflow and improve accessibility of policy information.Support all due diligence for target acquisitions and manage coverage integration for acquired company. Serve as a key contact within Risk Management for leases, vendor, and supplier contract reviews to ensure adequate protection for the company.Design, develop and implement processes and strategies to streamline the workflow within the department and improve efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance or business A minimum of seven years risk management or finance experience Healthcare business experience a plus Strong financial, organizational, and analytical skills Innovative thinker comfortable with ambiguity to complete tasks Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and build/maintain relationshipsExcellent verbal, and written communication skillsSolid presentation skillsStrong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
