Maxar is hiring a Manager, Sales Weather to lead our team of highly experienced sales and customer success professionals. This role will focus on selling our WeatherDesk and ClimateDesk solutions, delivering client value within industries such as: banking, finance, energy, and agriculture, and responsible for coaching and leading team members. The incumbent of this role will be highly motivated, strategy focused, and have strong experience being a sales leader, value generator, and revenue driver. This position is very much a player-coach role – bring your talents and drive results. This is a Base + Commission role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive go-to-market activities for established and new offeringDirect sales activity and revenue delivery within the line of businessDefine and refine strategy for sales and customer-focused activitiesDrive and achieve 6-figure sales quotasCoach sellers in all aspects of the sales process, including rigorous qualification of customer opportunitiesInfluence cross-functional teams to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for customers and MaxarArticulate customer requirements to multiple Maxar stakeholders and leadersDrive internal processes in collaboration with Finance, Legal, Ops, Product, and Engineering, including briefing General Managers, CFO, and CEO when required

Minimum Requirements:  

Must be a U.S. CitizenBachelors in Meteorology, Weather Science, or equivalent experience in industry7-10 years of experience carrying a sales quota3-5 years of experience leading sales teams

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$101,000.00 - $169,000.00 annually.


 

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
