The Manager,Sales plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building strong customer relationships at Ping Identity. This role is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals, driving sales strategies, and achieving sales targets in alignment with the company's business objectives.
You Will:
Lead & Manage Sales Team: Guide and mentor a high-performing team to achieve sales objectives and KPIs. Develop Sales Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business goals and revenue targets. Drive Sales Performance: Ensure the team meets or exceeds targets through effective pipeline, opportunity, and deal management. Foster Key Relationships: Build strong connections with customers, partners, and influencers to drive growth. Identify New Opportunities: Discover and strategize market penetration and customer base expansion. Provide Sales Insights: Deliver accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and analysis to senior management. Collaborate Cross-functionally: Partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Success for aligned efforts. Coach & Develop Team: Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to enhance sales skills and performance.
You Have:
8+ years of sales experience, with 3-5 years in a sales management or leadership role, preferably in software/technology (IAM/cybersecurity). Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to motivate teams and build customer relationships. Solid understanding of sales principles, methodologies, and strategic thinking. Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales productivity tools. Analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven sales decisions. Experience with cloud/subscription models, consultative selling, and strategic partnerships.
