Position: Manager, Sales Revenue Operations

Job Description:

Forward Air is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Sales Revenue Operations, for our sales operations team to optimize our revenue generation processes. This role will focus on enhancing sales efficiency, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and finance teams.  In addition, this role will guide and support business decisions with insightful data summaries. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for improving sales performance.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

Insight Generation: Evaluate, derive, and deliver insights to the sales organization using financial results and data to grow profitability and revenue.  Provide necessary financial data in support of insights.  Prepare presentations with data insights and recommendations for senior management. Business Health: Manage and monitor business health based on profitability metrics by customer, lines of business, customer segmentations, and other relevant data points.  Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to Identify and communicate sales pipeline revenue accrual, realization, and forecasting Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting tools and visual dashboards to monitor sales performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs).  Business Reviews: Own the distribution and communication process for monthly business reviews, P&L reviews, sales performance as it relates to revenue realization and cost of sale Continuous Improvement: Guide and support business decisions with insightful data summaries Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a related field Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred Sales and Commercial finance experience required Proven track record of driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and process improvements

Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
