What you'll do The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager is a high impact coaching role responsible for training and developing new representatives during their ramp period. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of successful production in a sales development role, evident interest and development in leadership, and notable examples of initiative in a team environment. The SDR Manager candidate must possess the ability to train and motivate new Sales Development Representatives to meet and exceed ramp quota. Must be eager to coach, teach, and monitor business metrics and individual KPIs. Strong communication skills is a must and the ability to analyze data is vital. Regular productive and proactive communication, coordination, and collaboration with business partners in Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Human Resources, Business Development, Marketing, and Demand Generation is required. The expectation is to provide meaningful feedback and coaching to each new member of the SDR team; help establish accountability to meeting professional goals and business commitments. Must be adept at making cold calls and qualifying prospective customers through targeted questions, sharing Docusign’s value proposition, and be capable of explaining and teaching this to an employee with no prior sales experience. Candidate must possess strong work ethic and character, leading by example, and ensuring actions are in line with Docusign’s core values and policy. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Director, Sales Development team. Responsibility Partner with Management to coordinate training and mentoring responsibilities Lead training of sales methodologies Facilitate training on tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Eloqua Be responsible for the introduction to the Docusign product Shadow and train new reps making outbound calls to prospects, including use of Salesforce CRM for data integrity and sales alignment Own and consistently develop existing onboarding and training techniques Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure consistency in training Develop a cadence for 30-minute roleplay heavy training sessions for reps Develop and present 6-month reinforcement training Maintain high involvement in SDR Intern or Apprentice program Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.
