What we’re looking for: 

We are seeking an SEO Manager to elevate our digital marketing and buyer experience efforts at Gartner Digital Markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SEO, including technical SEO, content strategy, and product-led organic growth.

The SEO Manager role involves leading a small team to execute SEO experience strategies across four brands: Capterra, Software Advice, GetApp, and UpCity. Success in this role requires working collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders. It demands proactive communication, multidisciplinary experience, and a talent for developing playbooks and building strong teams.

Strategy Development: Identify opportunities for organic growth and develop cutting-edge strategies to maintain industry leadership.

Project Leadership: Break down goals into initiatives, working with the team to ensure successful execution and timely results.

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring success, such as organic traffic growth, conversion rates, and search rankings.

Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on SEO performance and insights to stakeholders, using data to inform strategy adjustments.

Operational Excellence: Construct an operating model aligning with goals, capacity, and transparency for stakeholders.

Team Development: Develop a team of 1-3 members, supporting their success and growth.

Stakeholder Support: Address evolving organizational needs, fostering relationships with product, content, marketing, and engineering teams.


 

What you’ll bring to the team:

Experience: 7+ years in SEO roles, including 2+ years in people management or team leadership.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze, plan, and execute top-notch results.

Communication: Clear, actionable communication impacting various business areas.

Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and improve efficiency.

SEO Tools Knowledge: Proficiency with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Conductor, etc.

Content Strategy: Proven experience in SEO content strategy and keyword research.

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of technical SEO, including website architecture and rendering.

Data-Driven Approach: Use data to develop outreach strategies and evaluate success.

Adaptability: Embrace change and continuous learning in the digital marketing landscape.
