Manager, ServiceNow Platform Delivery

About the Job

Red Hat is looking for a Manager to lead our ServiceNow Platform Delivery team.  This team is part of the ServiceNow CoE and is responsible for the health, operations, architecture, and upgrade of all Red Hat ServiceNow instances. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual who can help mature ServiceNow related practices, and ensure the evolution of the platform scales to meet growing demands across the enterprise.

What You'll Do

Leadership:

Cross-collaborate with the ServiceNow CoE Management team on Delivery aspects

Align with the Agile/SAFe standards defined within the ServiceNow CoE team

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment

Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and analysts

Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal delivery

Resolve team conflicts and ensure a positive working environment

Reconcile conflicts of priority related to ServiceNow Platform & CMDB functionality deployments

Solution Delivery:

Technical development standards

Ticketing standards

Release management

Solution and user support

Reporting and Metrics

Other industry standards pertinent to the maturity of the ServiceNow CoE

Platform & CMDB

Platform access and security guidelines

Upgrade strategy and process guidelines

Integrations strategy

Release management

Platform monitoring

Architecture and design principles

Citizen Development Program

Data architecture and retention

People Management:

Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent for the ServiceNow delivery team.

Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.

Conduct performance reviews and manage career development for team members.

Recognize and reward team achievements and contributions.

Encourage diversity and inclusion within the team.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of relevant IT experience

3+ years management experience with a focus on ServiceNow

Strong leadership and organizational skills - capable of motivating and managing organizations or teams to deliver desired results

Proven track record of managing agile delivery teams

Demonstrated ability to consult and partner with all levels of leadership across the organization

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user friendly manner

Knowledge of ITIL processes, business analysis, development, project management, and process improvement practices

Experience collaborating cross-functionally to create alignment and support 

Ability to juggle many competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment

Ability to work in and manage ambiguity

The salary range for this position is $116,640.00 - $192,390.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
