Position Purpose: Responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of all Centene social media channels (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, executive social media profiles, etc.) as part of the Company’s overall digital communications strategy. Maintain a pulse on the needs and challenges for social channels, provide counsel and best practices on social media matters, advise on community management and response protocols, and play a key role in developing content for social channels.
Develop a social media channel/platform strategy (both inbound and outbound communications), in partnership with other business units and product teams.Oversee a team responsible for day to day operations of social media channels. Ensure performance is achieved and employee development actions are identified and implemented.Develop and oversee the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives, including integrating social media into the overall business strategyDevelop processes for responding to inbound inquiries received via social media channels. Establish response protocols and KPIs.Develop content for posting on all designated social media outlets, monitoring online competitor presences/perceptions, researching new channels for relevance/trend identification, reporting “chatter” and other relevant online data, and maintaining posting schedules.Maintain a social media calendar, managing the ideation, production and publishing across all platforms.Actively play a day-to-day role in community management.Communicate marketing analytics, social media trends, site features and best practices, and will report results to leadership.Report on analytics and KPIs to key stakeholders on a regular basis.Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience resolving customer inquiries on social media, sourcing and managing content development and publishing resources.Pay Range: $84,300.00 - $151,700.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
