We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager with deep expertise in Continuous Deployment (CD) and a proven track record in large enterprise environments. As a key leader in the engineering team, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of CD pipelines, ensuring seamless, automated software delivery from development to production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, define best practices, and ensure that our CI/CD processes scale to meet the growing demands of our enterprise applications.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on designing, building, and optimizing Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.
Architect and implement end-to-end CI/CD workflows to support fast, reliable, and automated software delivery.
Work closely with DevOps, software engineering, and QA teams to ensure alignment on delivery pipelines, automation, and testing.
Drive adoption of best practices for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and automation in a large enterprise environment.
Manage the development, deployment, and monitoring of software delivery pipelines at scale.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the pipeline to improve speed and reliability.
Advocate for the use of modern tools and technologies, ensuring the team stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics for pipeline efficiency and performance.
Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of pipeline issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and automation across the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) methodologies.
Hands-on experience with CD tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, AWS DevOps, or similar).
Extensive experience working in large-scale, enterprise environments with complex infrastructure and delivery needs.
Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize CD pipelines to support high-volume, mission-critical applications.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex pipeline issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and mentor a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, DataDog, or ELK stack.
Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines in SaaS.
Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
