This role will provide leadership in architecture, design, and development to support our custom software teams with a focus on application and platform technology. Leverage industry best practices and technological innovations to provide solutions that contribute to increased efficiency. You are passionate about enabling developers to build scalable applications that are secure and performant with high quality. Responsibilities:Manage a team of dedicated, highly skilled engineers to tackle common problems, encourage standard methodologies, improve quality, and enable experimentation.Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to sophisticated problems.Participate on committees responsible for the architecture, development, implementation, and support of new and enhanced applications.Contributing to strategic vision, owning and resolving issues that impact design, product success, or address future concepts, products, or technologies.Think creatively; challenge industry standards.Qualifications:Master's/Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or commensurate experience.2+ years leading software engineering teams.4+ years with software development experience in a scrum/agile environment.Proven track record supporting critical applications; programming in a variety of languages; and using a Systems Development life cycleEstablished ability to mentor software engineers in a team setting, including architecture, design, and code review.Experience building and furthering cultures of operational excellence, shipping high-quality platform capabilities to internal teams and enterprise customersStrong communication, interpersonal, project management, organization, and leadership skills.Ability to generate and articulate new ideas and adapt effectively to new technologiesAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $151,650.00-$212,310.00

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off:  Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
